Tape Measure Holster / Holder / Pouch / Clip

I own 6) six of your Tape Measure Holders (No Pouch). I wear 2) two each on the 3) three different types of carpenter tool bags i own, a framing, a finish, and, a rebar tool bag sets. These holders are the absolute best out there on this planet Earth! I can hang any of my pneumatic nail guns, cordless drills/impacts, let alone a tape measure. I typically work 10) ten hour construction days and almost always I’m wearing a tool bag on me. The only suggestion i can offer, based on my experience is to install an additional rivet above and centered across the top of the Tape Holder. I typically don’t watch my hands re-inserting a tool back into it’s particular home in any of my leather pouch locations. What is/can happen is the hook/hanger of any tool gets snagged/pinched/sandwiched between the back of the square plate and the leather. This occurrences tends to allow the leather to shape/warp/distort and create a memory pukka. Thus, a permanent gap is eventually formed and now I must look at the hanger/hook of a tool to be properly inserted. This is only occurring on my right side and i am right handed. What do you think? My solution is going to be just that, drill and insert a matching rivet at this location. When I get to doing that, I’ll shall follow-up with my experienced results.
Thank you for making a solid made in the U.S.A. product!

(With pouch) Well-built, properly switched, truly hand made. Sturdy heavy gauge leather, burnished with lighter leather on pocket. With 1/8″ aluminum flat, 3/32″ ss clip, polished brass hardware. Impressed the hell out of me.

I have just the clip without the pouch, and the quality/craftsmanship of this thing is off the charts. Pretty easy to tell it was made by someone who really takes pride in their work. Fit and functionality is flawless on my Occidental 3″ leather/nylon padded belt. Currently using it with a tape measure, but I feel it is destined to be used with a lot more. Anyway, couldn’t be happier, and looking forward to getting many years use out of this–thank you!!
